The rapid rise of secularism in contemporary media regularly side lined traditional religious values, a challenge he successfully overcame by founding a dedicated independent printing house and establishing the influential Islamic magazine Al-I'tisam. Despite distribution bans and targeted state pushbacks, he used modern mass-media formats to deliver affordable, entry-level educational materials directly to the public, refusing to let his pen be co-opted by state censorship.
